Halloween is celebrated in many different ways. However, the most recognizable Halloween day celebration here in America is trick or treating. Trick or treating is a common practice in which children dress up as their favorite characters, knock on neighbor's doors, and ask for candy. Halloween is celebrated on October 31st in the U.S., Ireland, and Canada in virtually the same way. While in other countries, such as Australia the celebrations are slightly less widespread and popular. Moreover, some people do not celebrate Halloween for religious reasons. "Halloween has strong pagan roots, so I don't mess with that," Kevin Beabrun said.
