S.T.E.M Night, meaning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, was held on Pi Day, March 14, in the cafeteria. Ms. G, our high school biology teacher, hosted the event from 6:00 to 8:00pm. To start STEM night, there was a conference given to explain the four subjects of STEM, how you can get a STEM degree, what colleges you can go to with a STEM degree, and extra details about the given colleges. After the conference, students proceeded to the provided booths. All the booths were based on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The main reason STEM was held was to increase the amount of students that are thinking about receiving a STEM degree or pursuing a STEM career. “I had a great time at STEM night!” Sofia Ruiz exclaimed. “It was well planned and an exciting event.”
