The first high school Honor Roll ceremony of the year was held Friday, November 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Good grades are something everyone always strives for. The ceremony was held in the cafeteria at Keys Gate Charter High School. There were around 100 students total, the majority being Seniors. Students received their awards in the cafeteria during 3rd period. There were around 20 A-Honor Roll students, the rest received A and B Honor Roll. Each of the students were called to collect their certificate and free movie ticket to a theater that was rented out just for our Keys Gate Honor Roll students. “I think it's so cool we get recognized for our grades, it's encouraging,” Jomar Calo said.
