Ms. Velez, Drama teacher, took her HS Drama classes on a field trip to the South Dade Cultural Arts Center on October 10th. On the trip, they saw an amazing performance of 'Julius Caesar' with a modern twist. The play began in an urban 80's office party and music. It was sort of a musical, with choreography and synchronized melodies. Everyone was intrigued and focused as the storyline built up. There was secrecy, infidelity, and murder as everyone turned against Caesar except for his closest friend. After the show, the cast came out and answered a few questions. They interacted with the audience and made the audience feel appreciated, even though the audience was in appreciation of them for their hard work and dedication to put together such an incredible performance.
