Spirit Week
During the week of Halloween, Keys Gate Charter High School celebrated Spirit Week, which is a week of fun in which students were able to dress funky, funny, or just crazy. On Monday, the first activity was Decade Day-students and staff were encouraged to dress up according to any decade they chose. On Tuesday, it was Character Day, when everyone dressed up as a character they liked or wanted to be. Suspenders, glasses, and a lot of books were the theme for Nerd Day on Wednesday. Brazilian Day was on Thursday. In order to welcome in the Homecoming Game and Dance, students showed their support by wearing the school colors during the Pep Rally on Friday. It was overall a good week and students had fun. “I’m liking the idea of Spirit Week and how we can express our creativity and dress up for free!” said Barbara Delbusto, during her first year at Keys Gate.
