Learning while watching a movie

Ms. Duran’s Film class went on a field trip to see “Thor: Ragnarok” at the Regal Cinemas 16 at the Southland Mall. The students were split into groups and arrived in two separate buses. On Thursday, November 9th students were required to pay $20 to attend the field trip. Students were able to see different aspects and techniques used by film directors in order to capture the audience’s attention. “I enjoyed the movie and hope to have more field trips like this,” Valentin Esparraga, a film class student said.
