Many students came out to support Keys Gate High School's Knights football team, who played against Miami Beach. The crowd was hyped up by K-12 cheerleaders, school band, families, friends, staffs, and teachers. During halftime, the Homecoming King and Queen were announced for the school year of 2017-2018. The winners were:
12th grade: Moises Rodriguez and Giselle Sanchez
11th grade: Emanuel Marmolejo and Carli Vega
10th grade: Michelle Lebron
9th grade: Valeria Velasquez
