Flamenco, Poetry, Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, dancing, and singing, were all elements of the Hispanic Heritage Show. On October 26th students gathered to enjoy the Hispanic culture, and to celebrate and appreciate the dedication of the Hispanic community their contributions to the US. The hosts opened the show by introducing the 22 Spanish speaking countries while students cheered for their flags. This event took place for the first time in the gym. Middle School students attended during 2nd period followed by High School students during 7th period. The Fine Arts Department put together this annual event along with volunteer students. "As a senior student, I really enjoyed the show,” Juan Hurtado said. “What really stood out to me was the ambiance, the performers created through the music and the dances."
