Hallway Battle

Keys Gate Charter high school students from 7th to 12th grade decorate the hallways, and represent grade color by floor. Half of the hallways were assigned a specific color per grade level. The blue decorations were assigned to 8th, 9th, and 11th graders. The Gold decorations were assigned for 7th, 10th, and 12th graders. Hallways on the second and third floors represent high schoolers and hallways on the first floor represent middle schoolers. At the end of this week the Juniors won the battle. “Wish we would have more volunteers this year but it was a lot of fun,” Hannah Ward, a 9th grader, said. This competition took place during spirit week to hype up for Pep Rally, Homecoming Game, and the Homecoming Dance. These events were the perfect occasions for students to enjoy themselves and reunite again.
