Pink and Purple Day - Breast cancer affects 1 out 8 American women. On Wednesday October 18th, 2017 students and staff members wore pink to support the breast cancer community and bring awareness. The following day, Thursday October 19th, the school supported the LGBTQ community against bullying by wearing purple. Students 9 out of 10 have reported being bullied, “Love and respect, are the best actions to support our community,” Corneisha Waters said.
