Students and parents were filling up Keys Gate’s gym, awaiting for the high school Varsity Girls first home Volleyball game. The much anticipated game started at 5:00p.m. against Key West. Each set consisted of an effective bump, high set, and a forceful attack. The roar of the crowed took over every time a point was made. Despite the cheers and the team’s effort Key West came through and took the win. “With six girls on the court and one desire to dominate we will soon be driven to success,” Paulette Melendez, senior varsity volleyball player, said.
