The 3rd Quarter Honor Roll ceremony is held to reward students for their academic excellence. At Keys Gate Charter, High School, the Honor Roll assembly is held every 9 weeks, after grades are submitted to the county for the quarter. Every quarter, students who uphold to the required academic achievement are given a certificate and a bonus reward. The bonus consists of treats such as free ice cream. Also, proud parents are invited to this event, where multiple photos are taken with their sons or daughters. At the end of the ceremony, friends and families gather around to chat and celebrate the reward. "I find Honor Roll to be significant for students, it's great that we are compensated and recognized for our hard work," honor roll student, Tatyana Medal, stated.
