Drama Field Trip

The South Dade Cultural Arts Center is continuously providing outstanding performances. On Friday, February 17, Ms. Velez's drama class went on a field trip to the Art’s Center. The audience was asked to take their seats before the poets presented on stage. Three male poets began to express their creativity through rhythmic patterns and smooth transitions. The poets used nothing but their voices and bodies to further make the experience for both the performers and the audience, a memorable one. "They [the poets] superseded my expectations. It was an incredible performance," Ms. Velez, the drama teacher and performing arts director said.
