The Black Heritage Month show was presented by members of the poetry club, dance, choir, guitar and staff members. Classes invited to the event gathered in the cafeteria during 2nd and 7th period on Thursday, February 23rd to watch the show. These performances were to display and appreciate black history, as well as bring light to certain topics through dances, music, poetry and stepping. There was a slideshow with pictures and videos dedicated to Isiah and Samir, to celebrate their lives. “I’m glad I had the opportunity to attended the show, I was able to enjoy it and learn more about black history,” Somolly Uy said.
