The Keys Gate Wrestling team brought home a handful of wins January 27th, after going against Key West’s wrestling team, for the annual District 16 Class 1A wrestling championships. Individually, there were three champions, two runner-ups, and two placers. Eloy Marquez took 4th place, Brandon Molina took 3rd place, Jose Santiago and Ray Taltoan were runner-ups in each wrestlers’ individual weight class. Christopher Jackson, Jacob Delgado, and Angelo Figueroa were all champions in their respective weight classes. The boys wrestled their absolute hardest in this tournament, and as a team, they took 3rd place in the overall.
