Every year millions of people are in need of blood Keys Gate Charter High School was one of the places that were eligible to help that cause by hosting a Blood Drive. Students that met the requirements were eligible to donate on January 13th from 7:00a.m. to 2:30p.m. All donors received a free long sleeve t-shirt, a pizza, and a wellness checkup including: blood pressure, temperature, iron count, pulse and cholesterol screening. "The blood drive was a good way for people to help others that are in need for help," Angel Palomares said.
