Veterans Day
Veteran's day is a holiday honoring all of the veterans, deceased or living who have served our country. Veterans Day was once known as Armistice Day, which celebrated the Treaty of Versailles between the Allies and Germany to end World War I. The treaty was signed on June, 1919. November 11th became a day to pay tribute to all American veterans-living or dead-specially to give thanks to the veterans who served and protected America during war or peacetime. "I feel Veterans Day is important because it gives us time to appreciate for those who fought for our country," Brandon Pichilla said.
