Every year, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. This holiday is celebrated in honor of the 1621 feast between the Pilgrims and the Wampanoag Clan. On this day, families come together to spend time and feast on all types of food including the traditional turkey. Not only do people eat on Thanksgiving, they may play football or watch the famous Macy’s Parade in New York. This day may symbolize food, football, and fun, it also symbolizes gratefulness for family, friends, and what you have. “Thanksgiving is a time of joyfulness and relaxation and a time to spend with family,” Erasmo Rosas added.
