The week on March 14th math teachers around the world celebrated Pi Day, a holiday where mathematics takes the spotlight. Pi Day is also the birthday of Albert Einstein, one of the smartest humans ever, and who was very big on math. The sign pi is generally used when finding the circumference of a circle. The math classes of Ms. Parks and Mrs. Shiffrin celebrated by bringing several circular foods such as donuts, cookies, pie, and cake. “It was an interesting thing to do and I like the idea that she had for Pi Day,” Prabhuti Vansadia added.
