King of Keys Gate

The lights were dimed on March 11th for the 17 contestants competing for the crown as “King”. This year Key Club sponsored the second King of Keys Gate pageant directed by Ms. Luces. The categories featured within the show were: Casual Wear, Date Night, and The Most School Spirit. During the show there were small breaks like the push up battle between last year’s winner Juan Hurtado and Coach Benavides. Xavier Gomez, a junior, came out victorious and took the win. “I'm glad I got to be a part of something so big and so fun,” Xavier Gomez said.
