Valentine’s Day

Love filled the school’s hallways on Friday, February 12th, as the students participated in the excitement of Valentine’s Day. Every February14th people all around the world celebrate by giving flowers, candy, and cards to those they love. Saint Valentine is thought to have lived during the third century in Rome, Italy. After the Emperor forbid soldiers from getting married, Saint Valentine disagreed and married couples in secret. “I love Valentine’s Day because it is a day to celebrate strong bonds and our love for each other!” Reesa Wright exclaimed.
