“Dramatic” Performance

The KGCHS drama class performed the play “...And the Giants Fell” on Wednesday, December 9th. The play was about the tragedy that happened 14 years ago on September 9th 2001. The play was written by playwright Todd Ford and directed by the drama teacher Ms. Velez. The Drama 2 students worked on the performance for more than 6 straight weeks. “I was very pleased [with their performance].” Velez said. “We got the reaction we worked so hard for.” The day of the performance, Ms. Velez described the turnout of the audience as a “full house.” The cafeteria was almost filled with students, parents, teachers, and administration in support of Keys Gate’s drama program.
